THE SHORT VERSION
Model 9205+ appears on the NIOSH Certified Equipment List under approval TC-84A-8590. The 20-pack contains individually wrapped, valveless adult respirators. EPA and NIOSH advise people who must be outside in wildfire smoke to use a well-fitting N95. Confirm “NIOSH,” “N95,” and TC-84A-8590 on the respirator itself, not only on the box.
Best for: Adults who must be outside briefly in a plume and can achieve a seal with two straps and a clean-shaven face.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING
- Fit and seal determine protection; facial hair across the seal causes leaks
- One adult size; not a children’s SKU, and children under two must not wear a respirator
- It filters particles, not carbon monoxide, ozone, or most volatile organic compounds, and it does not supply oxygen
- It is not a substitute for evacuation or a cleaner-air room
- Breathing is harder; people with heart or lung conditions or heat concerns should seek medical guidance
- 3M labels these respirators for occupational use and warns that limitations apply
